Opportunity exists for a permanent full time Clinical Dietitian (Level 1/2) at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). In addition, we will be making an eligibility list for further temporary positions available within the department. The position is required to be part of the face to face 7-day Clinical Dietitian service inclusive of weekends and public holidays as rostered with working hours of 0830-1700. This position may also be required to work periods of time as Tuesday-Saturday to assist with additional support for the weekend roster. The weekday hours of work are 0800-1630 or 0830-1700, as well as participation in the ‘late shift’ roster with hours of 0830-1700 to support departmental technical staff. The Clinical Dietitian provides a high quality Nutrition and Dietetics service to allocated clinical areas. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Clinical Dietitian is an advocate for nutrition services. The Nutrition and Dietetics service provides a comprehensive range of nutrition services including inpatients, outpatients, ambulatory care and community consumers according to endorsed standards of practice, policy and procedure.
