How you’ll make an impact You’ll work with both public and private sector clients, contributing to projects that drive operational excellence and sustainable outcomes. You’ll lead packages of work within larger multi-disciplinary projects, taking ownership of your workstream from analysis through to recommendations – and building the client relationships that go with it. Your work will include: Leading or being a critical team member for delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating inputs across technical disciplines and delivering clear, evidence-based outputs. Applying structured analytical approaches to support complex decision making for asset-intensive organisations – investment prioritisation, performance improvement, risk and reliability. Working alongside Aurecon’s engineers and technical specialists, bridging the gap between deep technical expertise and client-facing consulting outcomes. What you’ll bring: A degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or a related discipline – or equivalent experience that gives you a technical lens on problems. Around 3–5 years of experience in consulting, engineering, operations or a technical advisory role. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into outcomes. The ability to work with data – interpreting outputs, identifying patterns and turning analysis into clear recommendations. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Financial and commercial acumen, or a demonstrated interest in developing it quickly – industry experience in this area is highly regarded. A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to lead your own workstreams while drawing on the expertise around you. Comfort working on site and a willingness to travel occasionally for project work – our clients operate real assets in real places, and getting on the ground is part of how we do our best work.
