We have had a fantastic opportunity arise for an individual to join us here at our Measham site as a Junior Design Engineer . We are looking for a willing and enthusiastic individual who would like to develop their skills and technical knowledge whilst learning on the job and gaining valuable experience.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and gain job-specific knowledge from their expertise. This opportunity allows you to develop your skills and technical knowledge whilst earning a wage and studying towards a BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering with Mechanical Design.
As a Junior Design Engineer, you will be required to complete upto 20% off-the-job training which will include attending college at allocated times throughout the year. Alongside the off-the-job training and any other learning and development required, you will complete daily ‘on the job training’ whilst completing your day-to-day role. You will get experience in the assembly, manufacture, build and design of our equipment used within the quarrying and mining industry.
Responsibilities
You will join our Engineering Design Team and will work closely with the wider workforce. This position offers a great deal of variety.
No previous experience is needed for this role, we are looking for a determined, hardworking and passionate individual who has a willingness to learn.
