The Opportunity UGL Utilities team are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team in Perth. This role is a local project, 55 hours per week (home every night). Some key responsibilities of this role will include: Develop and implement detailed project plans, work schedules, and methodologies for electrical works, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets and scope. Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts; provide engineering input to ensure compliance with industry standards, UGL requirements, and client expectations. Oversee on-site electrical activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the requires quality standards; manage subcontractor performance and resolve site issues as they arise. Promote and enforce UGL’s HSE policies and procedures across all civil project activities; ensure risk assessments and safety measures are effectively implemented. Liase with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to provide regular updates. Manage expectations, and address engineering or construction challenges; prepare and deliver progress reports and technical documentation. About you Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
