This position will focus on supporting product families manufactured in Penang as the Interventional Cardiology division continues to expand. Two of the largest franchises produced in Penang include Drug Eluting Stents (DES) and Interventional Cardiology Balloons. As a critical liaison between Penang, Galway Ireland, and the US, you will lead efforts to drive collaboration, process innovation, and operational excellence. This is a pivotal role within our Interventional Cardiology division, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our supply chain operations. Purpose Statement As a Global Senior Planner, you will support the SI&OP process for your assigned product families, ensuring global alignment and supporting strategic priorities. Demand Management: Collaborate with regional teams to review, adjust, and improve demand forecasts, ensuring proactive responses to market changes. Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory performance and recommend actionable strategies to reduce excess, obsolete, and expired stock while safeguarding supply continuity. Strategic Projects: Contribute to strategic initiatives impacting the global supply chain, identifying risks, and ensuring effective communication and resolution of concerns. This role primarily supports key Interventional Cardiology product families manufactured in Penang, though additional support for other product lines may be required as needed.
