Job Role: Senior Finance Executive Overview The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal policies, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The role reports to the Assistant Finance Manager and supervises the Finance Executive team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and control across all finance processes. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Oversight– Reporting to Assistant Finance Manager Supervise client and supplier account setups, invoicing, payables, and receivables in line with company policies and VAT regulations. Oversee monthly billing cycles, ensuring accuracy of invoices, timely collections, and proper recording of revenue. Review supplier invoices, approvals, and payments to ensure compliance with contracts and internal controls. Monitor petty cash, expense claims, and other finance-related administrative processes. Compliance & Controls Ensure compliance with VAT filing requirements, statutory audits, and internal audit controls. Maintain up-to-date documentation for audit readiness and internal policy adherence. Support the Finance Director in implementing financial policies and process improvements. Team & Stakeholder Management Supervise and guide Finance Executives and Junior Executives in their day-to-day activities. Act as the first escalation point for internal and external finance queries. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations. Strategic Support Assist the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Support analysis for new business cases, client profitability, and operational efficiency projects. Drive automation and system improvements to enhance finance function effectiveness. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and VAT regulations. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (preferably NetSuite). Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with financial modelling/analysis. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA part/fully qualified is preferred). 6–8 years of progressive finance experience, including supervisory responsibility.
