PART-TIME MARKETING MANAGER & BRAND AMBASSADOR (CONTRACT – REMOTE, BOULDER/DENVER AREA)

Through a graphic designer, we have just finished a new, secret set of brand guidelines, graphics and colors to be your creative palette. Launching in weeks.
We’re seeking a Social Media Strategist and Brand Ambassador on a part-time contract basis of 10 to 20 hours per month, depending on local events and your creative ideas. Our Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook presence is here for your creative direction — take it over.
Applicants must live in the Boulder or Denver area, be familiar with the local community, and be able to travel to events and marketing opportunities. A personal vehicle is needed, with enough space to transport two 6-foot fold-out tables for tabling events, for example. This role is fully remote with flexible scheduling — ideal for a creative, outgoing professional looking for consistent monthly contract work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in social media management and digital marketing
• Gift of gab and an outgoing personality to chat with new people at networking nights, tabling events and marketing venues
• Proficiency with Flodesk, Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook
• Skilled in effective, engaging photography and videography
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand alignment
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently on a monthly contract basis
• Familiarity with topics of childcare, nannying, and babysitting required
• Access to a personal vehicle large enough to transport two 6-foot fold-down tables for tabling events and marketing venues
  You do not necessarily need a marketing degree, you just need unique ideas for our brand, and the ability to talk easily with new people.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll manage our social media presence, represent us as a brand ambassador at events, and prepare quarterly email newsletters or marketing campaigns for families and caregivers. Your work will support Babysitters of Boulder’s reputation as a reliable, knowledgeable, one-of-a-kind resource in our community. You will help us expand our reach and brand recognition and there’s ample room for increased pay or hours as you generate results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Show up to increase our household name recognition and community trust, such as volunteering with youth nonprofits or co-organizing a kids’ coat drive with a fellow locally-owned business
• Go out for business networking evenings such as What She Said Inc. in Denver, or tabling at Listen to Your Mother and Moms Unhinged comedy events
• Write, design, and send quarterly Flodesk newsletters; organize and track ongoing Flodesk campaigns
• Improve our Instagram page and expand followers (https://www.instagram.com/babysittersofboulder/)
• Create engaging Instagram and LinkedIn posts on topics ranging from local happenings, silly kid activities and funny skits, to more serious insights on parenting and the demanding work of childcare providers
• Stay current with trending or crucial topics in the childcare field and our area
• Represent the values of Babysitters of Boulder: reliability, kindness, professionalism, diversity, and respect
• Over time, seek out podcast appearance opportunities for the agency
