JOB DESCRIPTION
The Queens Borough President’s Office seeks a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Communications Department as a Digital Design and Content Manager, who will play a key role in shaping and disseminating the office’s messaging to all 2.4 million Queens residents via social media content creation, website management and more.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED SKILLS
Significant prior experience managing social media and designing content for either a government official/entity or private sector organization. Significant prior experience in both shooting and editing video content for dissemination on social media. Possesses strong writing and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of social media platforms such as X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. Maintains a solid work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting. Ability to work night and weekend events as necessary.
