This role is ideal for a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Technician with experience in providing reactive and proactive maintenance support for industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
The company is a well-established and highly regarded raw materials manufacturer within the plastics industry, supplying premium products to businesses across the UK. They are recognised as a leader in their field, renowned for their exceptional production standards and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
The role involves being responsible for reactive and proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across all machinery and site equipment. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults, performing repairs and replacements, implementing improvements, and conducting thorough inspections of components and equipment. While electrical fault-finding skills are highly desirable, they are not essential. You will also maintain meticulous maintenance records and ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards. This role operates on an evening shift, Monday to Friday, from 3 pm to 12 am, with Friday finishing at 7 pm. Initial training will be conducted during daytime hours.

Candidate Requirements:

• Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing, Industrial or Similar background
• Experience in PPM, Repair, Reactive and Proactive
