Directs and oversees the daily operations of the bar and its staff including beverage preparation, production, and control. Maintain cleanliness and overall organization of bar areas, including beverage coolers. Check for expiration dates on all perishable products. Complies with all Federal, State, and Local Laws pertaining to alcohol sales and safety. Keeps accurate inventory counts of all beverage and bar supplies, ensuring adequate levels are maintained and minimizing spoilage of perishable items through proper rotation and correct temperature controls. Supervises Bartenders and Cocktail Servers, insuring they are properly trained and have the tools, supplies, and equipment needed to correctly perform their job duties. Plan, assign, and direct bar employees’ work duties and tasks. Makes fair and consistent decisions regarding sending employees home early as business needs warrant. Be knowledgeable of and able to uphold all Company policies. Communicates to Management any work-related issues that occur during assigned shifts, including employee relations, performance, facility, or safety issues. Performs additional duties as requested by management. Work Environment and ADA Requirements: Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to work in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
