About the Role

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations for Teleflex Medical Japan. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of products from overseas distribution centers to our Japan warehouse and customers nationwide.

Working closely with internal teams, APAC Supply Chain, and logistics partners, you will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, cost management, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly support the availability of medical devices that healthcare professionals rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound logistics, import operations, warehousing, and domestic distribution across Japan.
• Manage day-to-day logistics operations through 3PL partners.
• Ensure compliance with Teleflex policies and Japanese regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve logistics KPIs, service levels, and operational costs.
• Manage returns, product non-conformances, damaged goods, and logistics-related customer issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and SAP transactions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Customer Relations, APAC Supply Chain, and external logistics providers to ensure reliable product supply and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop logistics team members and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
• Experience managing imports, warehousing, and domestic logistics in Japan.
• Business-level Japanese and professional English communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience.
• Knowledge of the PMD Act, Japanese import regulations, and IATA requirements.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Team leadership and continuous improvement experience.
