We are seeking a Director, Healthcare Partnerships & Growth to help build strategic relationships, identify market opportunities, and accelerate the adoption of innovative training solutions across the healthcare ecosystem. This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for a builder. Someone who is passionate about healthcare innovation and understands how to bring together stakeholders, identify meaningful opportunities, and create long-term value through collaboration and partnership. About the Opportunity As Director, Healthcare Partnerships & Growth, you will play a key role in helping shape the commercial strategy and growth of our healthcare innovation initiatives. You will work closely with executive leadership, product and technology teams, healthcare partners, and international collaborators to: Build strategic relationships across the healthcare ecosystem Identify and validate market opportunities Develop partnership and growth strategies Support pilot programs and innovation initiatives Create pathways to scale successful solutions Position Aequilibrium as a trusted partner in healthcare innovation You will engage with healthcare leaders who are looking to improve learning outcomes, workforce readiness, operational efficiency, and patient care through innovative approaches to education and training. What You'll Do Partnership Development Develop relationships with hospitals, health authorities, healthcare providers, universities, nursing programs, medical schools, simulation centres, and healthcare innovation organizations Build and nurture strategic partnerships across Canada and internationally Identify opportunities for collaboration with industry, government, and academic stakeholders Growth Strategy Help define and execute go-to-market strategies for healthcare-focused solutions Identify high-potential market segments and ideal customer profiles Develop growth plans that balance near-term opportunities with long-term strategic initiatives Contribute to business case development and commercialization strategies Market Development Represent Aequilibrium at conferences, industry events, and innovation forums Engage healthcare leaders to understand emerging challenges and priorities Support thought leadership initiatives related to healthcare innovation, AI, XR, and workforce development Opportunity Development Lead discovery conversations with prospective partners and clients Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions Help shape pilot opportunities and innovation programs Develop proposals, partnership agreements, and funding opportunities What We're Looking For Required Experience 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, innovation, healthcare strategy, or growth leadership Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, health authorities, academic institutions, or healthcare technology companies Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives Excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital health Healthcare technology Medical simulation Healthcare education Workforce development Learning technologies AI solutions Extended Reality (XR), VR, or AR Research and innovation programs Public sector healthcare Personal Characteristics You are: Curious and entrepreneurial Comfortable operating in ambiguity Passionate about healthcare innovation Strategic and relationship-oriented Able to connect vision with execution Motivated by creating a meaningful impact Why Join Aequilibrium?
