One Ashford Hospital, part of the Phoenix Hospital Group, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join our friendly team at our Ashford hospital on a Flexibank arrangement.
Reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager, the successful MSK Physiotherapist will deliver face-to-face assessment and treatment of various musculoskeletal outpatient conditions. This includes orthopaedic patients and sporting injuries. We pride ourselves on being up to date with current research, and providing patient centered, evidence based care for our patients.
QUALIFICATIONS / KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
EXPERIENCE
We have a modern outpatient facility with an equipped gym included bike and treadmill / weights / plyometric and agility training equipment, as well as a Radial Pressure Wave Therapy device (Shockwave) to enable us to really help get our patients back to their best. We also have dedicated in CPD time monthly within service.
You will be liaising with orthopaedic consultants and GPs as appropriate to best meet the assessed needs of the patient, carrying out appropriate clinical risk assessments and where necessary, onward referral.
Please note that this role may include weekly ward based responsibilities in the form of assessing elective orthopaedics patients on the day of and following surgery.
