This role offers the chance to work closely with expert consultants at University College London Hospital within a collaborative and highly specialised oncology and haematology setting. HCA UK at UCH is a joint partnership between HCA Healthcare UK and UCLH, providing a full pathway of oncology and haematology care. Our multidisciplinary teams support patients from diagnosis through to treatment, recovery and long‑term follow up. We deliver specialist care for solid tumours and blood cancers, full Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant pathways, CAR‑T and other cellular therapies, all within modern specialist environments focused on safety, excellence and personalised care. As a Senior Specialist Pharmacist, you’ll work across both our inpatients and outpatient areas, using your expertise to provide advice and counselling to patients. Day to day you’ll rotate between the dispensary and patient wards, preparing medication and liaising with patients and colleagues alike to ensure our high standards of care are maintained. We’ll look to you to support with a variety of clinical tasks, such as ensuring the day care patients receive their treatments and suportive medications, taking part on ward rounds and organising discharges for transplant patients as well as reviewing patient nutrition and antimicrobials.
