What You’ll Be Doing: • Maintain cemetery grounds with care and respect, including installing burial vaults, setting markers, and landscaping. • Operate landscaping equipment (weed eaters, blowers, mowers) to keep the grounds looking pristine. • Perform tasks like trimming, pruning, sod cutting, and cleaning roadways and walkways. • Help families during special committal services, assisting with placing flowers or lowering caskets. • Work on special projects and help with mausoleum maintenance as needed. • Collaborate with a supportive team that’s committed to delivering compassionate service to our community. Courteous and good attitude around public and towards supervisor. Ability to operate weed eater (10 - 25 lbs.) for 4 to 6 hours with 15-minute morning break, 30 minute meal break, and 15 minute afternoon break. Ability to assist in removing and lifting single and double shutter crypt fronts (75 - 200 lbs). Demonstrate ability to perform the duties the position requires.
