Responsibilities Provide personal care services to bed-bound clients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Utilize Hoyer lifts for safe transfer of clients to and from beds, chairs, and other locations. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring dietary needs are met while encouraging proper nutrition. Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any changes in condition. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties. Document client progress and report any concerns to the nursing staff or management. Must have proven experience as a Home Care Aid or similar role, especially working with bed-bound clients. Hoyer lift certification or substantial experience using Hoyer lifts is mandatory. Compassionate and patient attitude with a strong desire to help others. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring clients. Excellent communication skills to properly interact with clients and their families. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and caring for chronically ill individuals.
