What you will be doing: · Partner with the Director of Human Resources to implement and achieve hotel HR goals in alignment with the business plan. · Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs, including Orientation, Make It Right Service Training, and system/compliance training for new hires and managers. · Develop and deliver Hilton branded and Marcus training initiatives, compliance training, and publish learning calendars to support continuous growth. · Guide managers through employee relations, labor relations processes, and performance management, ensuring fair and consistent application of corrective action. · Assist with investigations, grievance resolution, and maintaining strong relationships with local labor union. · Manage benefits administration, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance, and unemployment claims. · Lead associate recognition and engagement programs, including People Pleaser of the Month/Year, Manager of the Quarter, and Associate Appreciation Month. · Organize and lead community involvement initiatives, strengthening the hotel’s presence in Milwaukee. · Maintain accurate and confidential HR and personnel records, process payroll adjustments, PTO payouts, and terminations. · Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of HR.
