Job Summary

• Take orders on POS
• Answer phone calls
• Greet/engage customers
• Handle customer inquiries/feedback
• Opening/closing duties
• Organize/replenish food display areas
• Assist bakers when necessary
• On-going cleaning throughout the store
• Decorate & slice cakes for retail sale
• Prepare various cake decorations
• Keep track of inventory/cake stock
• Think quickly to resolve any unexpected issues
• Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, mopping and sweeping

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented
• Food Handler certification
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, with a sense of urgency
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized
• Have a bright, positive attitude and a friendly, tidy image
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Have strong communication skills
• Have a sense of tidiness/hygienic standards
• Must be able to work on weekends / holidays (if needed)
• Must have a keen eye for quality assurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
