SUMMARY

Cait’s Sweet Bites & Beanery is seeking a Barista to join our team in Prince George, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality beverages and baked goods while providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and baked goods
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
  • Train new staff on coffee preparation techniques and customer service practices
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Qualifications
  • Previous barista experience or relevant experience in the food industry
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an asset but not mandatory.
