The Waskesiu Recreation Association is a local non-profit organization that is dedicated to delivering exceptional recreational experiences to our community. We are seeking a motivated and organized Recreation Supervisor to lead staff, manage facilities, and foster community engagement during the summer season.
Responsibilities

As the Recreation Supervisor, you will:

• Staff Management: Supervise and evaluate the performance of team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
• Facility Management: Ensure that facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained to meet community standards.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for assigned program areas, ensuring financial accountability.
• Community Outreach: Promote recreational programs to stimulate interest and participation within the community.
• Collaboration: Work closely with community leaders and organizations to align offerings with local needs.
• Contract Services: Oversee and manage third-party contracts for services related to programs and facilities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience in staff supervision and program management.
• Knowledge of facility operations and budget preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive approach to community engagement and collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 16 weeks
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

• Waskesiu Lake, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
