Job description –The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and high standards of care within the social work program. This role supports program integrity by monitoring clinical documentation, evaluating service delivery against regulatory requirements, and developing systems to enhance program quality. The QA Specialist works closely with leadership, clinicians, and administrative staff to maintain excellence in service delivery and improve outcomes for clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social sciences, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in medical records, billing, or quality assurance in healthcare/behavioral health..
• Training in Medicaid/insurance documentation requirements (a plus).
• Proficiency with EHR systems and data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, billing, and organizational standards.
• Review progress notes for completeness (signatures, dates, required fields).
• Check consistency between treatment plans and notes.
• Ensure documentation meets payer and audit standards.
• Flag missing or late entries for correction.
• Generate compliance reports for management.
