What will a day in this role look like Lead mechanical design of material handling systems, including conveyors, chutes, and feeders. Perform calculations and design checks using engineering software and spreadsheets. Model material flows and system performance using software such as Sidewinder, Belt Analyst, Helix, or Rocky DEM. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver detailed design packages for mining and bulk material handling projects. Ensure designs meet client, industry, and safety standards. Qualifications The qualities that help you thrive At a minimum, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. The following experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
