JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Assistant to support our team in various activities aimed at enhancing community engagement and outreach. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and wish to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. The Volunteer Assistant will work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of events and initiatives.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse groups.

• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms for promotional purposes is advantageous.
• Previous experience in volunteer roles or community service is a plus but not essential.

• Help with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
• Collaborate with team members to develop promotional materials and social media content.
• Engage with community members to promote our services and gather feedback.
• Attend regular meetings to discuss progress, share ideas, and contribute to team objectives.
