NIGHT NURSE (RGN)

Location: Chester, CH2
Contract: Full-Time Nights (38.5 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £22.25 per hour + Paid Breaks

REQUIREMENTS

• NMC Registered Nurse (RGN).
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an RGN within a Nursing Home setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge with proven ability to work independently at night.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Please note: We are unable to consider newly qualified nurses or applicants who have solely worked bank/agency shifts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our care team in Chester as a Night Nurse. This is a full-time role, working 38.5 hours per week on a rolling rota, providing high-quality nursing care and clinical support to residents during night shifts.

Shift Pattern

• Contracted hours: 38.5 hours per week
• Week 1: 4 long shifts
• Week 2: 3 long shifts
• Shifts are 12 hours (8pm – 8am), including some weekends

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide skilled clinical care to residents during night shifts.
• Ensure care plans are followed, updated, and personalised to meet individual needs.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Supervise and support care staff to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
• Respond to emergencies and manage residents’ changing health conditions.
• Maintain compliance with NMC standards, CQC regulations, and company policies.
