Assistant Management Accountant | £35,000 | Liverpool
We are working with a reputable property business based in Liverpool.
The role will require you to work at the office with a strong team, supporting a Financial Controller that will help, guide and develop you as well as support you with your own finance qualification progression. The company is very profitable and is outperforming their competitors in the industry they operate in.

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
• Post journals
• Carry out balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Analyse variances, carry out investigations and provide detailed commentaries
• Maintain the fixed asset register and maintain Capex files
• Take responsibility for stock audits
• Prepare financial reports on specific departments to support key decision making processes
• Support with year end audits
• Ensure the team/business operates a best in class service by contributing to improving controls and processes

For this role, you must have:

• CIMA/ACCA part qualified with desire to progress
• Experience of preparing management accounts
• Excellent communication skills in order to work well with stakeholders in the business
• Fantastic organisation and prioritisation skills as you will be working in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Strong Excel skills (look ups, pivots etc)
