Description
Company Description Our client is a leader in EV charging infrastructure and fleet electrification, providing cutting-edge solutions for large-scale fleet operators transitioning to zero-emission transport. As a trusted partner in the industry, we specialize in charge management systems, energy optimization, and technical consulting to ensure seamless EV infrastructure deployment. We work with some of the largest fleets globally, solving complex technical challenges to enable a smooth transition to electric mobility. Job Description Role Vision We build durable, cross-functional product teams and empower them to deliver meaningful customer outcomes. This role supports the product team by ensuring strong execution, coordination, discovery support, and delivery across the product lifecycle — from early problem exploration through release and launch — helping teams turn strategy into shipped, customer-valued outcomes. The Associate Product Manager works closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to support delivery against the four pillars of product success: ensuring our products are Valuable (something customers choose to buy and use), Viable (solutions that work within business constraints), Usable (products users can easily adopt), and Feasible (products we can reliably build and release). Ownership of these pillars is shared across Product, Design, and Engineering. Purpose of the Role The purpose of this role is to support both discovery and delivery activities, helping the team deeply understand customer problems and translate those insights into well-shaped, deliverable product outcomes. This role balances execution excellence (planning, coordination, releases, launches) with hands-on involvement in discovery, including collaborating with engineers to write, shape, and slice user stories that clearly express customer needs and intent. It is ideal for someone with a few years of professional experience who is looking to specialize in product. The role suits a candidate with strong project management instincts and customer curiosity who wants to grow into broader product ownership over time. All employees are expected to demonstrate commitment to company values and work collaboratively in support of company goals. Key Responsibilities Product Discovery & Problem Understanding Participate in discovery activities to understand customer problems, needs, and contexts. Engage with customers, end users, and internal stakeholders to build empathy and insight. Support synthesis of research, feedback, and operational learnings into clear problem statements. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to explore solution options. Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes. User Story Definition & Backlog Shaping Write, shape, and maintain clear user stories in collaboration with the engineering team. Help slice work into meaningful, incremental outcomes that deliver customer value. Ensure user stories clearly articulate user needs, acceptance criteria, and business context. Support backlog refinement to ensure work is well understood, prioritized, and ready for delivery. Act as a bridge between customer intent and engineering execution. Product Delivery & Execution Support Product Managers in translating product direction into clear delivery plans. Coordinate delivery activities across engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders. Track progress against plans, milestones, and release commitments. Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers and escalate appropriately. Maintain delivery artifacts including timelines, release notes, and status updates. Release & Launch Management Coordinate product releases across teams to ensure readiness and alignment. Support release planning, sequencing, and cutover activities. Own support release communications to internal stakeholders. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support product launches. Assist in preparing launch materials such as release notes, FAQs, demos, and internal enablement content. Product Operations & Ways of Working Support agile ceremonies and ensure backlog readiness. Maintain product documentation, acceptance criteria, and operational artifacts. Help manage cross-team dependencies and shared delivery timelines. Contribute to continuous improvement of product discovery and delivery practices. Core Duties Discovery & Definition Supporting customer interviews, feedback sessions, and discovery workshops. Helping teams articulate problems before jumping to solutions. Supporting hypothesis creation and validation. Translating insights into clear, actionable user stories. Agile Product Delivery Supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning. Reinforcing strong agile and collaborative delivery practices. Ensuring stories and delivery plans reflect real customer needs. Planning, Coordination & Launch Assisting with roadmap execution and milestone tracking. Coordinating launch readiness and internal enablement. Supporting post-release learning and iteration. Qualifications Key Requirements of the Role Technical & Professional Capabilities Total Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of overall professional experience in a corporate or fast-paced startup environment.
