KAFS provides culturally appropriate programs and inclusive services that meet the needs of urban Indigenous people to become healthier, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Under the supervision of the Mini Storage Manager at the Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society, the Mini Storage Support Worker is responsible for overseeing and supporting the operations of the Mini Storage Facility. This role ensures that clients have access to essential services, including storage, hygiene, and laundry. The Worker will work closely with the Mini Storage Manager to plan and effectively communicate services to the team, ensuring smooth operations.
The Worker will take a proactive role in crisis response, prioritize safety in all practices, and collaborate with external service providers to offer holistic support to clients. We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills, effective collaboration abilities, and the flexibility to adapt in a constantly changing environment while focusing on client needs and team dynamics.
