The Senior Manager will be responsible for specific elements of infrastructure required to support the capital build of the GO Expansion program. What will I be doing? Develops project strategies while providing overall administrative and technical leadership and oversight to the Railway Corridor expansion activities to ensure coordination of efforts and successful completion. Plans, sets objectives and controls Due Diligence and Utility Relocation/Protection activities of the project in conjunction with the design and construction teams. Leads a Project Management team to deliver collaboratively on activities for GO Expansion by facilitating the development of plans, schedules and budget documents to ensure optimal coordination of projects throughout the network; reviews consultant proposals and develops recommendations for proposed projects consistent with strategic plan and business objectives. Manage all aspects related to internal and external stakeholders as the project moves through its life cycle. Ensuring review timelines, comments and integration of these comments are met and agreed. This leader will be required to support the development/acquisition of any agreements and property requirements associated with the program as it relates to the work being undertaken. This role will integrate of all aspects of utilities management and execution of Due Diligence, supporting the design and execution of the work. Manages critical paths/milestones, by monitoring mechanisms for projects (e.g., budget, schedule, scope, quality); regularly reports to Director on project status. Develops and manages the budget related to works associated with the Due Diligence and Utilities. Promotes a safe and healthy work environment; ensures project teams, contractors and trades comply with health, safety and environmental standards that meet or exceed legislated requirements.
