Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Collections Clerk is responsible to the Office Manager for the collection and maintenance of all  accounts in accordance with company policy. For the posting of payments to customer account with extreme attention to details and accuracy.  With excellent communication skills, will be able to resolve A/R issues appropriately and effectively. Additional Functions: -  May perform some of the other general office functions. Qualifications: -  Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets summarizing aging/past due accounts. -  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, especially in telephone skills. -  Proven excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment. -  Great organizational and multi-tasking skills; detail oriented. -  Show successful experience in the ability to enthusiastically press into action collection efforts. -  Demonstrate a good understanding of general business operating procedures and be proficient in data entry. -  Be able to handle difficult calls and personalities with professionalism and tact. Education: -High School Diploma or GED required. -  2 years of Some accounting or similar experience. - 2 years of general inter office experience Typical Physical Activity: -  Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, walking, sitting, talking on the phone, occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs., stooping, typing, fine dexterity, hearing and speaking.
