Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge FPGA designs that are vital to businesses such as MRI, HPM, and IGT. Join us in maintaining and advancing these critical competencies within Electronic Systems & IoT.

Working with a focus on consumer needs and technological competitiveness, having an outside-in approach for the designs you create & the knowledge you share with your team.
Designing, implementing, and testing FPGA designs to meet customer needs.
Participating in all stages of development from requirements definition to release.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and proper documentation.
Reporting progress in a structured manner.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, informatics, or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in VHDL and/or Verilog coding.
Experience with major FPGA vendors and their tools.
Proven track record in implementing high-speed designs and interfaces.
Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and debugging.
Proficiency in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and regression test frameworks.
Ability to write specifications and design documentation
Experience in designing, developing, and testing digital logic circuits.
Experience in implementing new hardware architectures.
Experience in writing firmware to control and configure FPGA-based systems.
Experience in integrating multiple FPGAs to create complex systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging hardware issues.
Ability to provide subject-matter expertise to customers and production support teams.
Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams. Dutch is a nice to have.
A collaborative team player with flexibility and mentoring abilities.
Practical, proactive, and capable of managing and delegating tasks when needed
