Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to fabricate and install electrical components
- Analyze electrical blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of wiring systems
- Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work as required
- Provide field service support to customers, addressing their electrical needs in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used
Experience:
- Journeyman experience or the completion of an apprenticeship program; knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools and industrial equipment; ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents: strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; able to fabricate and install electrical components; excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues; motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions; and able to work independently or as part of a team;
Programmable logic controllers: 1 year preferred
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year preferred
Salary: Based upon experience
