About the Role
As a Power Lines Consultant at WSP, you will experience a great variety in your work, engaging in projects for multiple clients and network owners. Typical projects involve design, construction, and calculations within the overhead line segment, covering medium or high voltage levels from 70 kV to 400 kV. You will be part of a Nordic project team with deep expertise in the field and you will get the opportunity to work on projects in both Finland and Sweden.
The team works together closely to achieve project goals while continuously sharing knowledge and experience to foster growth.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have previous experience working with voltage levels of 70 kV and above. You have a background in electrical engineering, power engineering, or related higher education is highly valuable.
We also believe you have an interest in designing and constructing using tools like AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, Inventor, ArcGIS/AGOL, or Microstation.
Additionally, we consider it a merit if you have knowledge of structural mechanics, 3D modeling, or experience working with transmission and regional power lines, whether as a consultant or contractor. Familiarity with AMA standards, construction, and workplace safety regulations is also a plus.
We operate in an international environment where we form teams across borders, so it is important that you are comfortable communicating in both Finnish and English.
