On behalf of our aviation client, Procom is searching for a Technical Lead – Infrastructure Operations for a contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Nisku, Alberta office.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a self-motivated, technically savvy, and collaborative Technical Lead to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing server, storage, and network infrastructure services across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The focus is on ensuring infrastructure availability, scalability, security, and alignment with organizational strategic goals, including modernization initiatives.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco CCNA and CCIE, and Fortinet NSE.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing enterprise infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Experience with network virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in leading technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

TECHNICAL LEAD – INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in regulated environments such as aviation or financial services.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure architectures.
  • Understanding of unified communications and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance standards.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of server, storage, and network professionals.
  • Develop and execute an integrated infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals.
