Define data models and integration requirements (APIs, events, batch) across upstream/downstream systems; clarify ownership, SLAs, and error handling. Partner with QA to design test strategies (functional, regression, data quality, NFRs such as performance, resilience, and security). Coordinate UAT with Operations, manage defects to closure, and prepare release readiness artifacts (runbooks, cutover, rollback, controls).
