Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks. Assist with networks solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions. Awareness of various network technologies, including routing, switching, Azure cloud technologies. Ability to monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Ability to review network logs, backup network configurations, and recover network devices. Knowledge utilizing Cisco ISE, Cisco Unified Call Manager, and SolarWinds. Ensure compliance with network directives, policies, and STIGs. Ability to apply network patches, updates, and DoW STIGs to firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. Works with project managers to complete rapidly deployed network-related projects. Strong communication skills for technical and nontechnical inter-team collaboration. Stays current with new network technologies and utilizes industry best practices. May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced networking professionals.
