ABOUT US

We’re MI6, also known as the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS). Our mission is to protect the security and economic wellbeing of the UK from overseas threats such as regional instability, terrorism, and cyber-attacks. Working across the globe and in close partnership with MI5 and GCHQ, we help the Government to counter these threats through the provision of secret intelligence. A role in MI6 will see you providing vital support to this work, within a supportive and encouraging environment that puts the emphasis on teamwork.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the world moves to new ways of working, we are looking for innovators who would like to help us shape the future of technology at MI6. For us, technology plays a crucial and increasingly frontline role in safeguarding our nation from terrorism, espionage and cyber-attacks. Our graduate role offers you the unique opportunity to apply and develop your skills in this vital area of work, while contributing to making the country a safer place for everyone.
This is a graduate role that is designed to fully equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to be an effective part of MI6’s technology workforce. Successful applicants will start the programme in late Autumn 2026. You must be able to live in or commute to Central London. Further information about travel will be made available during the recruitment process.
No matter the team, you’ll play a key role, develop your skills and experience while working alongside friendly, welcoming and supportive colleagues in an inclusive environment. You’ll be given opportunities to take on responsibility that will give you the kind of exposure that you simply wouldn’t find in any other graduate role.
