Ensure proper sizing, pressure drop analysis, and flow rate calculations for mechanical pipelines and equipment. Review mechanical infrastructure for critical plant operations, including compressed air, steam, vacuum, and cooling water systems. Perform stress analysis and dynamic simulations to ensure system integrity under operational loads. Select, design, and integrate rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and heat exchangers into facility layouts. Ensure proper foundation design, vibration analysis, and mechanical support structures for large-scale equipment. Review equipment installation and maintenance guidelines to enhance plant reliability. Use AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Navisworks to create detailed 3D models and layouts for industrial plant construction. Conduct clash detection and coordination with structural, electrical, and process engineering teams.
