Valiant is seeking an experienced, full-time Simulator Technician to join our professional team at NAS Lemoore, providing support to the F/A-18 flight simulators.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform trainer system startup/shutdown as required * With assistance, perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance on all site training devices in accordance with all applicable safety and maintenance documents. * Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual periodic maintenance tasks. * Be able to effectively interface/communicate with U.S. Navy Aircrew personnel and other contractors. * Maintain records to document and support maintenance efforts. * Keep the Site Manager informed of training devices status and any on-going logistics efforts * Assist Site Manager with logistic functions. * Work collaboratively with SMEs and Technicians * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Must always present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress. * Have Network / Information Technology and/or Electronic Technician background. * 2+ years electronic technician background desired. * Training or experience equivalency will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Government. *  Possess the ability to obtain a US Passport and must have and maintain a valid driver's license. * Experience operating computer equipment and proficient in MS Word and Excel. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. * Able to identify computer and computer network systems failures. CERTIFICATIONS:   * An Information Assurance (IA) certification CompTIA A+ or higher is required. Security + is preferred * Linux Essentials Certification within 6 months of hire SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance, Active Top Secret preferred.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Requires mental alertness. * Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time. * Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
