OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to support the protection of critical systems, applications, and data. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, supporting investigations, implementing secure configurations, and collaborating with IT and OT teams to reduce cyber risk. The analyst will work across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or related fields.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, or other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Strong understanding of networks, systems, and applications security principles.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Apollo Beach, FL 3357

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify and respond to potential threats.
• Investigate incidents, contain threats, and support forensic analysis and root cause determination.
• Manage and maintain security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Apply and maintain secure configurations for IT and OT assets.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments, and support remediation planning.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including procedures, standards, and reports.
• Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and business units to ensure security is integrated into projects and operations.
• Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices to improve defenses.
