Job Description:The right candidate is responsible for prospecting and establishing new business relationships. This includes actively calling and travelling to new customers.The right candidate should be able to cost, quote and operate their cargo with suppliers of their choice. Proven knowledge to Fill tenders or biding platforms.

The Candidate

• Road Freight Forwarding experience required
• Entrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Sales, Warehousing and Pallet Network.
• Knowledge of Import & Export procedures / processes
• Proven experience of rate negotiation with both clients and third parties
• Have a portfolio of client leads
• Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary as is the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
• Competent decision making
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• IT literate and previous experience of using a CRM system/TMS Software.

Duties:

• Cold calling, lead generation & customer appointments.
• Filling Tenders
• Maintain and develop your existing accounts
• Process bookings from customer by phone/email
• Handle the coordination of freight.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
• Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
• Achieve monthly new business isolation and year to date revenue targets
• Strategically breakdown the region, turning prospects and leads into sales
• Arrange face-to-face meetings with key decision makers via cold calling both on the road and on the phone
• Sell the company’s services to new clients
• Undertake presentations at board level to potential customers

Candidate mus have good geographical knowledge of Customers around the Country .

Basic Salary starting from 35k to 50k depending on experience, plus Performance bonus.
