FLEET AND HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER

Do you have a passion for Fleet Management as well as Health & Safety? We’re seeking a dedicated Fleet and Safety Officer to join us in the fast-paced industrial door business. This role primarily involves the management of our fleet of vans - ensuring our engineers stay safe on the job and on the road. The other element of the role is Health & Safety – keeping our people safe whether working on a new construction site, in our office, in the factory or out on the road. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Previous experience in a health and safety role, preferably within a similar environment (qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH desirable but not essential)
• Fleet coordination and management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• PC literate and competent with Microsoft Office

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Fleet and Health & Safety Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies while simultaneously overseeing the management, operation, and compliance of the organisation’s fleet of vans. This role ensures a safe work environment for all employees and promotes the efficient and cost-effective operation of company vehicles.
