JOB SUMMARY

We seek a highly skilled Sales Solution Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of AWS products, including Cloud Security and modern Cloud Observability, and be able to provide expert guidance to our sales team during the pre-sales process.
As a Sales Solution Engineer, you will provide presale support to our customers, including demonstrations, documentation, proof-of-concept presentations, and other technical materials. You will also work closely with our delivery and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and integrated.
As a trusted customer advocate, theSales Solution Engineer helps customers work with AWS cloud in adopting advanced cloud-based solutions around security and observability. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales and solutions architect role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud solutions and services
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services and familiarity with other cloud providers (Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Ability to design, develop, and present comprehensive cloud architectures that address complex business requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High experience working in a customer-facing role, providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
  • Proactive and self-motivated, multi-tasking, with the ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
  • Experience with Security Products (Firewall, Web Gateways, Proxies)
  • Experience with system monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus)

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with the sales and account managers to identify and understand customer needs, pain points, and business objectives
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of AWS services, security and observability best practices, and migration strategies
  • Design and develop innovative cloud solutions tailored to meet customer’s needs, considering cloud best practices
  • Conduct and lead technical presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of AWS and ISV partner cloud solutions
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, technical documentation, and presentations that effectively communicate solution architectures to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including solution architects, DevOps, and project managers, to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS and ISV partner services, industry trends, and emerging technologies, continually expanding
  • Building strong relationships and providing ongoing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle
