This position is based at our Edmonton, AB location. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,000 - $85,000 a year. Provide drawings and product specifications to suppliers as requested. Manage and maintain raw material ordering processes in EPC including rolling forecasts to suppliers and consignment process in EPC. Evaluate supplier performance based on material quality, on-time delivery performance and pricing. Provide credit information, payment terms, terms and conditions, Supplier Excellence Manual, WISPER manual to new suppliers. Investigate MPV (material price variances) and provide accounting with findings. Participate in EPC cost out program. Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 3+ years University Degree, and/or PMAC Certificate in Purchasing. 3+ years in purchasing in a computerized MRP environment. All candidates must currently reside within 80 km of the work location to be considered. Sound knowledge of products and systems, division purchasing, and accounting policies. Advanced knowledge of purchasing techniques and supplier management with advanced computer skills especially in MS Office and database management.
