Seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting and delivering critical network and infrastructure solutions across complex enterprise environments.

This role will focus on the design, implementation, support and optimisation of network, security and cloud connectivity platforms, ensuring reliable, secure and scalable services for the business.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (FOR NETWORK SYSTEMS DOMAIN)

• Desirable Experience with Network Solution Architecture, network administration and or engineering experience within complex network environments.
• Desirable Experience with Multi-vendor telco WAN technologies
• Desirable Experience with Software-Defined Networking and SD-WAN technologies
• Desirable Experience with Advanced routing and switching technologies (multi-vendor)
• Desirable Experience with Wireless networking technologies
• Desirable Experience with routing and switching concepts and technologies (like Cisco ASR1000, ISR4000, 2900, Catalyst 6500, Nexus 7K, 5K, 3K and 2K)
• Desirable knowledge in dynamic and static routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, VRFs, PBB, MPLS, etc.
• Knowledge networking security (NGFW, SIEM, WAF etc)
• Project management and ITIL knowledge with focus on change management.
• Proactively researches and evaluates tools and technologies, as appropriate, to the network environment, while developing solutions to increase performance and lower the total cost of ownership.
• Certifications like CNP, CCDP, CCIE, AWS platform, Azure platform, ITIL, TOGAF would be preferred
• Desirable Experience with Compute & Storage
• Experience with Servers, Databases, Virtual Machines & VMWare preferred.
• Desirable Experience with Private & Public Cloud is highly desirable (VMware vCD, Azure & AWS)

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (FOR ICT INFRASTRUCTURE DOMAIN)

• Desirable Experience with hardware and software, network, Internet access/security and application and infrastructure requirements ensuring best practice standards and advice to ensure effective operation for all users.
• Strong understanding of application software development for one or more of the Linux, UNIX (e.g. Solaris), Windows operating systems. Systems programming or OS internal level skills would be an advantage
• Desirable Certifications in technologies related to Infrastructure, Development, Desktop and/or Systems Management as well as TOGAF or equivalent architecture certifications.
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
• Industry leading technical certifications (VCP is mandatory, VCDX, CCIE or MCA are highly desirable)
• Certification on AWS / Azure cloud infrastructure is desirable.
