As a VLT Cashier, you will be responsible for providing friendly and professional service while accurately processing VLT transactions, handling cash, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and cash-handling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Requirements:

• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• VLT (Video Lottery Terminal) knowledge and experience considered an asset.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Comfortable handling cash transactions and balancing cash floats.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Process VLT payouts and transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification and eligibility in accordance with gaming regulations.
• Handle cash, deposits, and balancing of cash floats while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of VLT transactions and related documentation.
• Assist guests with VLT machine inquiries and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor gaming activity and report concerns, irregularities, or suspicious activity to management.
• Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, liquor regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and welcoming gaming area.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous VLT cashier, gaming, retail cash-handling, or hospitality experience is considered an asset.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
