Description
Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before? How we started: Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D’Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth. Where we are now: We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Between 2023 and 2024 our global revenue tripled; £60m to £180m (300% year-on-year growth). We're looking to do the same in 2025; move into new territories, and further accelerate our growth journey. There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Where we’re going: Over the next five years, you’ll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You’ll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone. Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality! Full-time | Remote (Canada, with London HQ collaboration) HeliosX is a group of innovative healthtech companies on a mission to change the way healthcare is delivered worldwide. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality, affordable care to help them live healthier, longer, and happier lives. Through our vertically integrated clinical and pharmacy platform, we deliver safe, personalized, end-to-end digital healthcare. Since 2013, our brands, MedExpress, Dermatica, RocketRx, and ZipHealth, have completed over 2.2 million online consultations across 9 countries in the US and EU. This role offers the opportunity to directly shape the delivery of telehealth in Canada- starting with obesity and erectile dysfunction services, and expanding into broader conditions over time. You will be the senior Canadian clinical leader, working closely with colleagues in the UK, EU, and US. From developing SOPs and governance structures to building the prescribing team and representing our brand in Canada, this role combines clinical leadership, regulatory expertise, and strategic influence. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate across functions: with clinicians, pharmacists, customer service advisors, product designers, engineers, and commercial leaders—ensuring our Canadian operations are safe, efficient, compliant, and innovative. What You'll Do Market Entry & Regulatory Leadership Review and sign off on all localized SOPs and protocols to ensure Canadian compliance. Deepen integration into the Canadian healthcare ecosystem, building partnerships in pharmacy, primary care, and secondary care. Market Awareness & Strategy Monitor regulatory issues and competitor activity to ensure compliance while maintaining efficiency. Conduct competitor analysis and adjust product roadmap accordingly. Stay abreast of the rapidly evolving Canadian telehealth and online pharmacy landscape. Product Development & Innovation Use clinical and customer data to refine asynchronous consultation services. Maintain a product roadmap to bring new services online with the right protocols and content. Provide feedback to the UK product and clinical teams on Canadian-specific needs. Team Building & Prescriber Management Collaborate with the Medical Director and Digital Ops Manager to recruit and grow the Canadian prescribing team. Ensure consistent adoption of protocols across prescribers and support teams. Lead training sessions and write clinical macros to align Customer Support with prescriber standards. Clinical & Operational Management Lead clinical audits and assessments to ensure governance and quality improvement. Update teams on guidance and protocol changes, providing education and support. Investigate escalations, complaints, and complex patient issues, ensuring resolution with high-quality care. Review patient consultations, capturing training requirements and continuous improvement opportunities. Participate in monthly governance meetings, providing analysis and insights. Ensure Canadian learnings are shared globally, informing HeliosX’s broader international expansion.
