Kitchen Steward – Crowne Plaza Geelong An exciting opportunity awaits! We are seeking committed and reliable Stewards (part-time and casual) to join the team at the newly opened Crowne Plaza Geelong. Located in the landmark Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Exhibition Centre precinct, Crowne Plaza Geelong features 200 premium guest rooms, an all-day dining Italian restaurant and bar, street level cafe, a signature Skybar with panoramic views of the Corio Bay, leisure facilities including a pool and gym, and state-of-the-art conference and meeting spaces. This role offers the opportunity to join a newly opened hotel, work with brand-new facilities, and play an important part in shaping service standards and guest experiences from day one. A Taste of Your Day-to-Day Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including dishwashing, sanitising equipment, waste disposal, and deep cleaning. Support food preparation operations by assisting chefs with basic prep, maintaining ready-to-use prep stations, and supporting service during peak periods. Manage stock and deliveries, including receiving goods, safe storage, inventory checks, and assisting with stock control. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food standards, including HACCP, WH&S, PPE use, material safety data sheet (MSDS) requirements, and hazard reporting.
