This hands-on role involves building partner engagement through regular outreach, meetings, portfolio management and opportunity qualification. It's ideal for a proactive, commercially minded individual who enjoys relationship building and is looking to develop a career in partnerships, business development or channel sales. Create new partner opportunities Research and identify potential new retail partners who could support Tyro’s growth strategy. Conduct outbound prospecting to introduce Tyro and qualify potential partnership opportunities. Book introductory meetings with potential partners and support the early stages of partner development. Work with the Retail Partner Manager to assess new partners based on fit, opportunity size, merchant base and commercial value. Help build a pipeline of new partner relationships that can contribute to future referral growth. Generate commercial outcomes Work with partners to uncover merchant referral opportunities. Support campaigns or targeted activation initiatives across specific retail partner segments. Bring structure to the partner base Maintain accurate CRM records for partner contacts, activity, notes, opportunities and next steps. Help clean up outdated partner records, inactive relationships and unclear ownership. Support partner segmentation and portfolio reviews. Provide regular updates on partner activity, referral generation, blockers and opportunities. Help create a more disciplined operating rhythm across the retail partner channel. What you'll bring Experience in sales, business development, partnerships, account management, customer success or a similar customer-facing role. Good organisation skills and comfort using CRM systems or sales tools. Resilience, curiosity and a willingness to learn from rejection. An interest in retail, payments, technology, software, POS systems or partner ecosystems. The ability to work independently while staying connected to the broader team. A practical, hands-on approach and comfort doing the less glamorous work that creates commercial outcomes. What’s in it for you?
