Term: 4 months Proposed Start Date: May 04, 2026 About the Job: Energy Geoscience is a branch within the BCER responsible for regulating energy activities relating to the development and management of hydrocarbon reservoirs; working directly with industry partners, stakeholders and other agencies to ensure resource conservation.  Summer students are a valuable part of the BCER workforce.  Reporting to the Senior Geoscientist, this position will be responsible for completion of assigned tasks, including data analysis, geological characterization, and regional/local geological correlations.  The student will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Energy Geoscience Team. As a member of the team, the summer student will work collaboratively to support the business unit needs and be a part of meaningful project work that will enhance and broaden the knowledgebase of the BCER.
