The Stanley’s Bar and Grill Restaurant Server is part of the team responsible for excellent guest and food service. Main duties include greeting guests and contributing to a positive experience by connecting with them, offering excellent product knowledge, beverage options & pairings, as well as providing local area knowledge, maintaining proper food handling procedures, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, following opening and closing procedures and providing a seamless experience. Responsibilities Responsible for full table service (order taking, food running and bussing tables); Prepare and deliver all food and beverages in a timely manner, follow wine service steps as needed; Ensure quality assurance checks are completed in a timely manner; Anticipate Guests’ needs and search for ways to increase Guest satisfaction; Efficiently operate restaurant POS and complete cash-out at end of shift; Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment; Follow all HAACP and Food Safe requirements; Follow all procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook; Be knowledgeable and promote the Capilano Group of Companies; Promote a safe work environment paying particular attention to food and beverage safety; Take reasonable care to protect your own, co-workers and Guest’s health and safety; Be alert to hazards and immediately report any concerns of yours or our guests to your supervisor; and, Ensure your ability to work without risk to your health and safety or any other person’s safety is not impaired, by alcohol, drugs or other causes.
