TeachItRight is one of the few Tutoring Companies in Canada that is Owned by an Experienced Educator. We provide Reading, Writing, Science, Math, French and Special Education support for K-12 students. As a TeachItRight Tutor, you will have the flexibility to set your own hours and create your own lessons and activities, all while working from the comfort of your clients’ homes! The classroom is a busy place, and after-school sessions provide the perfect opportunity for students to engage in meaningful extra practice with a positive role model such as yourself. HOW WE SUPPORT YOU:

Flexible Hours:

• At TeachItRight, you will have the ability to choose your own hours and work from the comfort of your clients’ home. Tutoring most often occurs Monday through Friday from 4:00-6:30 PM.
• Hours are distributed on a first come first serve basis. The more open availability you have and your willingness to commute will greatly increase your chances of getting the hours you are looking for.

Curriculum Support:

• We provide all Tutors with a Tutor Welcome Package which includes tips and tricks, resources and sample activities. You are supported throughout your entire time with us!

Check Ins :

• We check in on you throughout your time with us! You are not just hired and forgotten about. We provide you with the autonomy to do your job, but we are always here to support you.

Mileage Bonus:

• We always offer you positions that are closest to you. In the event that a job exceeds certain mileage parameters, you will be offered compensation. You only accept the positions that you want!

Required:

• You must have reliable transport. Due to tutoring jobs being offered in different parts of the city, access to a vehicle is highly recommended.
• You must be enrolled in a University Program or are a University graduate
• This is an online tutoring position
• This position involves supporting a Grade 10 High Functioning student with Autism in Functional Math (e.g., simple budgeting, simple operations etc.)
• Availability (Day): Tuesday and Wednesday (1 hour session twice a week)
• Availability (Time): Late mornings/early afternoons
• Postal Code from which you will be commuting from

Assets: Tutoring Experience, Teaching Experience, Working with children and/or youth
Rate of Pay: $20/hour (online)
